V. Surendran Pillai, the only legislator of Kerala Congress (P.C. Thomas) faction will be inducted to V.S. Achuthanandan led Cabinet. Decision about this has been taken in the LDF meeting held yesterday unanimously. The formal announcement and the portfolio decision will be made probably on Friday.
V. Surendran Pillai represent the Trivandrum west constituency and the fouth minister from Kerala Congress (J) in this cabinet. All the four MLAs from the Kerala Congress (J) faction had become ministers in the LDF cabinet.
He becomes the third minister elected as an MLA Trivandrum west constituency, his predecessors included K Pankajakshan and MV Raghavan.
