Chirayinkeezhu Constituency Kerala Assembly Elections 2011 Results, Candidates

When Chirayankeezh gets ready for its first elections, freshers rule the scenario by contesting for the left, right and the B.J.P. eventhough they are first at the assembly election, every candidate holds a good record of work in their respective fields.

When K. Vidyadaran, KPCC executive member contests for the U.D.F, former Dewaswom board member, P.Sasi stands for the L.D.F. scheduled caste –tribe united front state chairman Aithiyoor Surendran contests for the B.J.P in the Chirayankeezh constituency.

After serving himself in the Public Works Department as a junior engineer in 1974, V.Sasi entered the social work scenario. He had his masters in Engineering from the Trivandrum Engineering College. In 1980, he became deputy director in the commerce sector. And thereafter held the position of General Manager in HANTEX. In this period he served as Private Secretary of minister, P.K Raghavan. He also held the posts of Mangaing Director of Artisans Development Corporation, Kinfra Apparel Park, and Director in Coir Development Board, director of HANTEX and Textile Board, Handweave chairman and Textfed chairman.

It is from Karamana Govt. High School after becoming KSU unit president, Vidyadaran entered into politics. Thereafter he became the KSU Trivandrum Taluk Secretary.in the period from 1976 to 78, he served as counselor in the Arts College. And then he became the KeralaUniversity, Union secretarty.he also became D.C.C member and Youth Congress, Trivandrum District vice president. The graduate is the State president of Bharathiya Dalith Congress and also a KPCC member.

A post graduate in Malayalam, Sanskrit, Aithiyoor Surendran is presently pursuing research in Manu Scriptology. Retired as a research office from the Kerala University in 2010. He also holds a diploma in journalism.the candidate, who is a congress member, contests for the B.J.P this time against the U.D.F and L.D.F in their attempt to bring Ranganatha Mishra Commission to effect. He contests as the scheduled caste- tribe united front candidate for the B.J.P.

All the candidates in this constituency even without previous experience seems to have the efficiency and qualifications to be the candidates.
