The capital city is now equipped with e-toilets (electronic toilets) too. The Museum and Zoo Department has installed two unmanned e-toilets at Museum and Kanakakkunnu palace premises.
The e-toilets developed by Eram scientific solutions, Technopark features automatic door opening, flushing, closet cleaning and sterilising etc. The status of the toilet and water will be informed automatically by sms via mobile to the control room.
The fee collection in the toilet is via an automatic unit which accepts money from the customer and offers service.
