Traffic Surveillance Cameras Installed at Trivandrum City

Trivandrum August 26, 2011: The new traffic security system consisting of 205 surveilance cameras at important locations at Trivandrum city has been inagurated by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy today.

The system will record almost all parts of the city 24/7 using the surveilance cameras and will be made available live at Police control room.



The cameras will be initially installed at Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Gate no: 4 of the Secretariat and Pulimoodu junction near Statue on Friday.

Currently 83 cameras and 38 speed domes has been installed in the city.
