Trivandrum Corporation solid waste management project

Trivandrum, 29 October 2011: The Trivandrum City Corporation will inaugurate the solid waste management project in the city from November 15 onwards.

The project will be implemented  in 15 wards  Muttada, Thampanoor, Palayam, Nanthancode, Pattom, Kesavadasapuram, Kowdiar, Kuravankonam, Vazhuthacaud, Palkulangara, Poojapura, Fort, Sasthamangalam, Vanchiyoor and Kunnukuzhy in the first phase.

Five agencies will implement the programme in the city which include 2,000 biogas plants, 650 vermicompost and 1,100 ring-compost plants.
