Trivandrum, November 17, 2011: As the price rise of vegetables is going unstoppable, the state government decided to start 600 vegetable markets across State.
The decision came in the video conference called up by the CM Oommen Chandy with all District Collectors. 400 stalls will be operated by Consumerfed and the remaining 200 stalls will be operated by Horticorp and Supplyco.
The stalls will supply all important vegetables that are mostly having increased rate in the normal market.
