Trivandrum, November 17, 2011: The e-Challan system to pay the penalities related to traffic offences starts functioning in City from today.
If anyone receive penalty, they can collect the amount and the traffic police officer will give an e-Challan, which is easily paid in SBT branches or in nearest Akshaya centres.
So now you wouldn't need to go to the Police Station to pay the penalty. The official inauguration of the programme will be done by CM Oommen Chandy today at Sri Mulam Club, Trivandrum.
