The authority assured the proposed new bridge will be completed in 200 days. For the use of pedestrians a small bridge will be availed. Vehicles should take another way to approch Medical College.
The experimental closure of the road took place on November 13 and 14, where November 14, Monday gave a very bad response from the public as it made an unusual blockade in the Medical college road.
Authority taking Medical college emergency cases in to consideration, kept Chalakuzhy road as one way.
The New Bridge
The proposed bridge is a four line, with 14.3 metre width. It will have pavements in both sides with 1.5 metre width. The bridge will have 21 metre length
