December 17, 2011: The Thrissur Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum issued an arrest warrant against Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani for failing to obey the Forum's ruling on a complaint filed by a Reliance mobile phone customer.
Joseph Makkolil is the complainant and an order was passed in his favour against Reliance Infocomm to pay Rs.24000 for not providing the offered services for the customer in 2003.
The order also needs Mukesh Ambani to appear before the Forum within February 15, 2012.
