Trivandrum, 16 December 2011: The 16th International Film Festival of Kerala concluded today with a valedictory function held at Nishagandhi auditorium.
Bollywood film director Subash Ghai was the chief guest of the function. The Golden Crow Pheasant Awards for the best films in the festival was given away by minister for Cinema KB Ganesh Kumar. 'The Colours of the Mountain' directed by Carlos Ceaser from Columbia was selected as the best film. The Silver Crow Pheasant award was won by the Mexican film, 'A Stones Throw Away'.
Hameed Ahmedi director of 'Flemingo Number 13' was selected as the best director. Malayalam film 'Adaminte Makan Abu; won the Fipresci jury and NATPAC awards.
