Trivandrum, 28 December 2011: Kerala Legislative Assembly has digitised the documents related to the proceedings in the assembly from 1957 and made available online. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy inaugurated the digitised version of documents made available to common public throught the official website of the assembly in an event held during the diamond jubilee celebrations of the Kerala Legislative Assembly.
Over 5 lakh pages of legislative documents is expected to be digitised and made available online. Documents prior to 1956 is under the process of digitisation.
A Centre for Parliamentary Studies and Training (CPST) under the Legislative Secretariat is also planned to train the legislators and employees.
