Trivandrum, 10 January 2012: The Nursing Council has declared December 9 as Nursing Service day. The day will be observed as Service day every year to remember the services rendered by Ramya and Vineetha, the two Malayali nurses who succumbed to death after saving lives of several persons in the Kolkata IMRI Hospital fire.
