Trivandrum Corporation Budget 2012-13 announces new Projects

Trivandrum, 13 March 2012:  The Trivandrum Corporation budget 2012-13 was presented by deputy Mayor Happy Kumar yesterday. The budget has given prime importance to urban infrasturcture development which includes Slum improvement schemes, housing projects, road repair and maintenance, rehabilitation schemes, drinking water and drainage schemes.

Other projects include EMS Housing scheme, Suvidha rehabilitation programme for street vendors, Nagarajyohti electrification scheme for coastal areas, girl friendly toilets in city schools, `Sujaladhara’ scheme for distribution of drinking wate, environmental studies centre and nursing college at Vilappilsala , Shanthikavadom II at Kazhakoottam, Dr Ambedkar Exam Training Centre, City Trade centre at Palayam.
