Trivandrum, 23 July, 2012: The Government of Kerala today introduced the 'Right to Service Bill' in the legislative assembly today. The bill titled 'Kerala State Right to Service Bill, 2012', is the first of of this kind in the country, guarantees the delivery of various public serves and impose a fine on officials if they failed to perform their duties.
The bill is expected to give specific time limits for the delivery of services like various certificates like birth, income, caste, ration card, electicity, water connection etc to the general public.
