Cultural Programmes at Museum Band stand

Trivandrum, 6 August 2012: The Museum & Zoo department in association with the Kendra Sangeeta Nataka Academy and Trivandrum Koodiyattam Kendram will organise a biweekly cultural programme at the Trivandrum Museum Band stand from August 8 to November 21, 2012.

The programme will feature traditional art forms such as Koodiyattam, Chakyar Koothu, Nangyar Koothu etc to be held twice in a month.

The first event will be held on August 8, 2012 at Museum band stand at 5:30 pm. The event will be inaugurated by Tourism minister AP Anil Kumar and will be attended by K. Muraleedharan MLA.

August 8 - Inauguration
August 22 - Nangyar Koothu
September 5 - Koodiyattam
September 19 - Chakyar Koothu
October 3 - Koodiyattam
October 17 - Nangyar Koothu/Chakyar Koothu
November 7 - Koodiyattam
November 21 - Nangyar Koothu/Chakyar Koothu
