Chief Minister Oommen Chandy presented Vallathol Prize to Yusafali Kecherry in the event held at Theerthapada Mandapam. The price carries a cash award of Rs 1,11,111 and citation.
The three day festival will have several literary events which includes Vallathol poem recital and a literary meeting which will be held on Wednesday, Poetry recitation session on Thursday etc.
