Trivandrum, 19 August 2020: The Trivandrum Internationa Airport will now be leased out to Adani Entreprises Limited which came out as the successful bidder in a Gobal Competitive Biding concucted by the Airport Authority of India for a period of fifty years.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the proposal for leasing out three airports including Trivandrum, Jaipur and Guwahati through Public Private Partnership (PPP).
The Government has already leased out the airports at Delhi and Mumbai through PPP ten years ago.
