Vande Bharat Express Trivandrum Timings, Stops, Ticket rate

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off Kerala's first Vande Bharat Express train on April 25. The semi high-speed train with 16 coaches will run between Thiruvananthapuram to Kannur.  

  Keeping in view the conditions of tracks, the speed limit will be kept at 110 km per hour instead of the 180 km per hour the train can travel.

The  Vande Bharat Kerala train will operate between Thiruvananthapuram and Kannur railway stations.

The distance between Thiruvananthapuram and Kannur is around 501 km, to be covered in around 7 hours by the train and will start before Jan Shatabdi before 6 am on all days.

Covid Vaccination for 40 plus in Kerala

 Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that Kerala will give the first vaccine to everyone above the age of 40 by July 15. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that a strong campaign will be launched to achieve the goal.

Speaking at the core committee meeting at Covid-19, the chief minister said about 50 lakh people of this age would have to be vaccinated and the state would get 38 lakh doses by the end of June. All will be protected by mid-July.

Meanwhile, 17,328 cases were reported in the state on Saturday. When 205,000 samples were tested, the test positivity rate was 14.89 percent. The state has been reporting TPR below 15 per cent for the last two days. Active cases also fell to 1,67,638 on Saturday. Thiruvananthapuram reported a maximum of 2,468 cases, Malappuram 1980 and Palakkad district 1899 cases. But deaths are on the rise. The death toll from the eruption has risen to 209 from 9,719. The state has been closed since the first week of May and is expected to end on June 9.

Hello English and Hello World Apps for learning English for Kerala State Syllabus students

This academic year, a dedicated web portal will be launched for students under the state syllabus as part of the expansion of Samagra Shiksha Kerala (SSK) 'Hello English' and 'Hello World' programs to enhance English language proficiency. They are already included in the school curriculum. The portal, which is compatible with web and Android platforms, will be up and running in a month.  The aim of this project is to enable teachers and students to master the English language with better proficiency. The project was launched in 2016. Earlier this year, SSK launched the ‘Hello English’ extension called ‘Hello World’, which is used on social media platforms for students.

Online Classes 2021-2022 in Kerala from June 1st in Victers channel

 Trivandrum, 26 May 2021: The academic year 2021-22 for schools and colleges in Kerala will start from June 1st onwards. Classes will be held online due to lockdown and Covid scenario like last year. Victers Channel will start telecasting state syllabus classes from June onwards.

This year Praveshanolsavam for class one will be held online, said Minister for Education Shri Sivankutty. Colleges and Universities will also start their academic year on June 1st.
