Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) Kerala has launched 3G services in Trivandrum. Subscribers can now access 3G services such as video calling, high-speed broadband connectivity, fast video downloads, mobile TV, music download and online games. Existing mobile prepaid customers can migrate from 2G to 3G by sending the keyword M3G120 to 53733. Post paid customers can receive 3G connectivity by sending sms M3G25 to 53733

I'm a Businessman and a 3G Customer from Kottayam. Its a happy news BSNL Lauches 3G service all the main cities in Kerala. But the main problem is that the BSNL staff haven't any knowledge about this service. I have contacted several times to customer care and they told will call back. I'm using E71 nokia and I can't make or receive calls after 3G activation in my mobile. If I choose network as UTMS, then the calls will not get if went a 2G area. So its better to give better traing to Customer Care staff to solve these type of issues. Any its faster than BSNL/Asianet/Reliance/VSNL Broadband . Also the Live TV is not Live.. Its a recorded TV show... Expecting more better service from BSNL..
