Jayalakshmi Mrs. Kerala 2024


 Electrical engineer Jayalakshmi, who has spent the last 25 years working in Bangalore's IT industry, won the first runner-up in the Gold Category of the GNG Mrs Keralam - The Crown of Glory beauty pageant, which was held in Kochi.


The purpose of the beauty pageant was to honour married women in Kerala for their true selves. It's a platform that gives married women a special and empowering chance to go on a journey of self-expression, self-confidence, and self-discovery.


Born into a regular family in the Kollam area, Jayalakshi is the daughter of Madhusudan, who passed away, and Ratnamma. Despite coming from a non-artistic home, Jayalakshmi was always a bright student.

Ente Keralam Exhibition 2023 at Trivandrum


  'Ente Keralam' show will be held at the Kanakakunnu palace grounds here from May 20 to 27 regarding the second commemoration of the Left Just Front (LDF) government.


 Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the exhibition on May 20 which will include slows down featuring the stalls offering services by departments, sales counters for products manufactured by public sector enterprises, and a food court. A techno zone with start-up successes and technological advancements from various industries is another draw.


The Nishagandhi amphitheater will have social projects on the entire days and photography and selfie contests will be held.

Competititve Exam Coaching for Minorities in Trivandrum

 Thiruvananthapuram: The Coaching & Center for Minority Youth, which provides training for various competitive examinations under the Minority Welfare Department, has invited applications for courses starting in July. Admission is open to religious minorities such as Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis and Jains. Training is free. Classes will focus on English, Malayalam, Mathematics, Reasoning & Geography, General Science, Constitution, History of India and other general knowledge. The 56 centers, which have 24 centers and 32 sub-centers, will cater to 40 to 100 students. Admission will be on the basis of eligibility and socio-economic backwardness.




CCMYs have six-month classes scheduled for July 1 to December 31 and January 1 to June 30.

Admission to Degree Batch, Plus Two Batch and Holiday Batch. Interested candidates should submit the application along with all the required documents to the respective CCMYs. The respective CCMYs offer the opportunity to apply online and offline, depending on the local conditions of the coaching centers.

"Niracharth"-Painting exhibition


THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: "NIRACHARTH", the maiden painting exhibition by a collective of Women painters, Chithrangana under Prachoditha Trust will be inaugurated by  District Police Chief Loknath Behera, at Kerala Arts and Crafts Village, Vellar, at 11.30 a.m. on Wednesday, 10th March, 2021. The exhibition, which will continue till March 14, is being held in association with the Regional Outreach Bureau - Kerala and Lakshadweep of the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Puthiya Keralam Modikkoppam (New Kerala with Modi) BJP releases slogan

March 9 last day for new voters to register to vote in the Assembly elections

 Trivandrum 8 March 2021:Today (March 09) is the last day for new voters to register to vote in the Assembly elections. The supplementary voter list will be published including the new entrants. According to the voter list published on January 20, 2021, there are 27,69,272 voters in the district.

Anyone who turns 18 on or before January 1, 2021 can register to vote, according to the District Election Officer. Navjot Khosa said. To register, visit www.voterportal.eci.gov.in You can also add your name through the Voter Helpline mobile app. The Collector said that the names of the voters can be checked through the websites www.ceo.kerala.gov.in and www.nsvp.in.

According to the voter list published by the Election Commission on January 20, 2021, out of the total electorate in the district, 13,15,905 are men, 14,53,310 are women and 57 are transgender. There are 14 assembly constituencies in the district. Of these, Varkala constituency has 1,83,856 voters, including 85,078 men and 98,778 women. Attingal has 1,99,036 voters, including 90,771 men, 1,08,263 women and two transgender people

Diwali, Christmas 2020 Firecrackers bursting timings at Trivandrum fixed



Trivandrum collector, Navjot Khosa, has issued orders limiting the bursting of firecrackers for Deepavali this year held on Saturday, November 14, 2020. The new orders allow a 2 hour window for crackers to be burst in the state between 8 pm and 10 pm

The new orders also limit use of crackers on Christmas and New Years’ Eve, allowing crackers to be burst for 35 minutes, between 11:55 pm and 12:30 am on both days.

CM Pinarayi Vijayan's daughter Veena weds Mohammed Riyas

T Veena, Daughter of Kerala Chief Minsiter Pinarayi Vijayan T Veena married Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) National President Mohammed Riyas today at CMs residence here at Trivandrum.

Veena works in the IT sector as managing director of Exalogic Solutions Pvt Ltd, a start-up company based in Bengaluru. While Riyas is the all-India president of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), the youth wing of the CPI(M). This is the second marriage of both Riyas and Veena.

KITE Victers Channel First Bell Online Classes Youtube, Web

New classes will be launched on Monday (June 15) at the FirstBell project, which will be aired on Kite Victers Channel and online media, with special classes taking advantage of technology.

Trial-based classes provided an opportunity for the entire children to watch. The new classes will be broadcast from Monday onwards for various classes in advance. The best response to the first class was received from children, parents and the general public.

A total of 27 terabytes of download was done a day on the Vikters Web. There are one million subscribers on YouTube. About 16.5 lakh people have downloaded the Victory mobile app from the Play Store. Some classes were viewed by more than 40 million people. I have also seen classes in the Gulf countries outside of India and from the continents of the US and Europe. According to feedback from First Class, English Medium has provided a number of facilities for students to write English words, provide Malayalam explanation and more topics in Hindi language classes including Kite and CEO. Anwar Sadat told the audience.

Classes can be found live on victerseduchannel on Facebook and on YouTube via itsvicters, in addition to the Kite Victors channel. There will be a reunion of classes from Monday to Friday for classes 10 and 12 each day. The reunion will be held on Saturdays and Sundays, as is the case for classes one through nine. Children who cannot be seen at the reunion can later view classes from the web and online.
