Noted Malayalam novelist Kovilan passed away today morning. Kovilan has been admitted at a private hospital at Kunnamkulam, Thrissur last week.
Kovilan whose real name was Kandanisseri Vattomparambil Velappan Ayyappan was born in 9 July 1923.
His noted works include Thattakam (1995), Hhimaalayam (1972),
Thottanngal (1970), A minus B (1958) etc. He is the winner of Ezhuthachan award.
