Trivandrum, 22 July 2011: Supreme Court of India has appointed two committees for keeping security, preservation of the inventory and opening of vaults in the Padmanabhaswamy temple in Trivandrum.
The two committees are as follows
A five member panel with CV Ananda Bose, Director General of the National Museum as the Head. The panel will consist of MV Nair, Archeaological Survey of India, Reserve Bank nominee and Executive Officer of the temple. This panel will examine the opening of the next vault and matters dealing with the valuable, videography and photography.
The other panel with three members will be headed by Justive MN Krishnan, along with Uthradom Thirunal Marthanda Varma and a government representative.
