Trivandrum, August 19: Electricity Board with the co-operation of IT Mission designed a novel technique to notify power failure.
Now consumer can send an sms to 537252 to notify their complaint to the concerned section about electricity.
When sending the sms, one should add their consumer number along with the section office code. The server will send the complaint to the concerned section's computer and also an sms will be sent to the higher official in the concerned section.
The system will be adopted to all sections in the State by the end of August.
