Trivandrum, 16 September 2011: Government of Kerala has decided to extend the restricted holiday declared for Mannam Jayanthi to all members of Hindu community.
Mannam Jayanthi, the birthday of Mannathu Padmanabhan comes on January 2 every year. The holiday was earlier declared for the followers of Mannathu Padmanabhan only.
