Trivandrum, September 15: From this midnight the petrol price will rise and touch the 70 rupees mark. The hike is for Rs 3.14.
The reason for the latest raise is the weakening of rupee against dollar. This is the 9th time raising the price of petrol after government resolves take away the control on oil companies in fixing the price in June 2010.
