Trivandrum, 16 December 2011: Air India's Maintenance Repair Overhaul (MRO) has been inaugurated at Trivandrum International airport today. The facility was inaugurated by Union Miniter Vayalar Ravi. State Minister K. Babu and MP Sasi Tharoor were present at the function.
The Maintenance Repair Overhaul is set up on 6 hectares of land at a cost of Rs. 110 crores. The maintenance of two aircrafts can be simultaneously done at the two hangars present at the MRO.
