Trivandrum, 25 January 2012: HLL Life Care (earlier known as Hindustan Latex) in association with Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Salahas launched an Ayurvedic Hair oil under the brand Herbs and Berries. The Herbs & Berries nourishing hair oil is a 100% nourishing hair oil prepared in coconut oil as the base. The Oil combines the effectiveness of eight Ayurvedic ingredients in coconut oil base for the daily nourishment of hair follicles.
The new products is developed as per the agreement with HLL Life Care with Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal and will be marketed under HLL's natural products brand, Herbs and Berries (H&B). Different products being introduced are H&B Nourishing Hair Oil, H&B Anti-Dandruff Hair Oil and H&B Joint Care Cream.
H&B Anti-Dandruff Hair Oil uses the anti-dandruff and anti-inflammatory properties of four essential herbs, to remove dandruff. Currently HLL Life Care markets the Herbs & Berries Chyavanules, a health supplement from Arya Vidya Sala.
HLL Lifecare Limited (formerly Hindustan Latex Limited) is an Indian healthcare products manufacturing company based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. A Government of India -owned corporation, it produces health care products, including condoms, blood bags, and contraceptive pills.
