Trivandrum, January 23, 2012: The archdiocese of Changanassery is all set to build a township in Kazhakuttam, Trivandrum named Mar Sleevapuram on 100 acres of land in the vicinity of the Technopark and the proposed Technocity at Kazhakuttam.
The project is estimated at Rs.1136 crore and it would be promoted by the Mar Sleeva Charitable Company to be floated by archdiocese.
The self styled city would feature a kinder garten, infant care home, school, professional college, a 100 bed hospital, 100 old age homes, 2000 apartments, 250 villas, a shopping mall which has 2.5 lakh square feet space, a convention centre, church, sporting and amusement centres and other amenities.
The proposed township is to commemorate the post - centenary silver jubilee [125 years] of the Changanassery archdiocese.
