The Department of Health has included the services of more specialty doctors for the tele-medicine service e-Sanjeevani. Doctors treating respiratory problems, skin problems, palliative care, ear-nose-throat and dental problems are available every day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
OP for eye and blood related diseases is available on Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The OP for bone problems will be available on Sunday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The OP for cardiovascular problems will be available on Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the OP for muscle and joint (polymyalgia rheumatism) Tuesday and Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m.
The health department estimates that about 2,000 people a day use the service. So far 1.5 lakh people have used the telemedicine facility. The public can access the website https://esanjeevaniopd.in or download the mobile app from the Google Play Store to access doctors via video conferencing.
