Harfest Thiruvananthapuram Carnival has started in Kanakakunnu. Various game zones, art shows, street magic, pets park, amusement park, trade fair, food street etc are organized in the carnival. Carnival offers street magic, circus and fire dances. A special space called Open Mic has also been prepared for the audience to perform. From street food to Hyderabadi mutton haleem biryani, the food street will also be available. Musical performances by groups like Metadoria, Agam Band and Suraj Santhosh are also being staged in the coming days. Entry is from 3 pm to 10 pm every day. The carnival is organized by Cedar Retail under ESAF Group. Will end on 14th.

‘ICSET 2021’ conclave by ICT Academy of Kerala
Trivandrum 13 March 2021: The fifth edition of the two-day International Conclave ‘ICSET 2021’ organised by the ICT Academy of Kerala will be held on March 15 and 16 virtually.
The theme of this years ICSET conclave is ‘Leading the New Normal’ .R A Mashelkar, former director-general of CSIR will inaugurate the conclave. The event will be attended by Tony Thomas, chairman of ICT Academy of Kerala, William Sim, vice president, Trailhead Academy (APAC), Salesforce, and Rajasree M S and vice-chancellor of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.

March 9 last day for new voters to register to vote in the Assembly elections
Trivandrum 8 March 2021:Today (March 09) is the last day for new voters to register to vote in the Assembly elections. The supplementary voter list will be published including the new entrants. According to the voter list published on January 20, 2021, there are 27,69,272 voters in the district.
Anyone who turns 18 on or before January 1, 2021 can register to vote, according to the District Election Officer. Navjot Khosa said. To register, visit www.voterportal.eci.gov.in You can also add your name through the Voter Helpline mobile app. The Collector said that the names of the voters can be checked through the websites www.ceo.kerala.gov.in and www.nsvp.in.
According to the voter list published by the Election Commission on January 20, 2021, out of the total electorate in the district, 13,15,905 are men, 14,53,310 are women and 57 are transgender. There are 14 assembly constituencies in the district. Of these, Varkala constituency has 1,83,856 voters, including 85,078 men and 98,778 women. Attingal has 1,99,036 voters, including 90,771 men, 1,08,263 women and two transgender people
