Irfan V bags first rank in Medical Entrance 2011

The results of the Kerala Engineering and Medical Entrance 2011 has been announced by the minister for Education PK Abdu Rabb.

Irfan V from Malappuram got the first rank and Shaammy N from Kollam got the second rank followed by Ashitha P from Ernakulam in the Medical section.

Engineering ranklist has also announced, however the engineering results will be only complete after preparation of ranklist comprising of the Plus two marks which will be made available on June 25, 2011.

38306 students have scored aggregate of at least 50% marks in the Medical Entrance Examinations to become eligible for MBBS/BDS Courses under State Merit.

2 questions, one from Physics and another from Mathematics have been deleted from valuation in the Engineering Entrance question paper whereas four questions has been deleted from the Medical stream.
