Trivandrum, August 23: The health minister Adoor Prakash opines that General Hospital can be raised as a Medical College.
Currently, the General Hospital has 23 acres of land. So Government can raise it to a full fledged Medical College with least expenses.
The Government is planning to start more Medical Colleges in Government sector as the Management Medical Colleges having lesser utility to the general public.
General Hospital has now a modernised and computerised OP block. It also started a modern Dialysis unit.
