Trivandrum, 29 October 2011: Trivandrum City Police will launch a new electronic system for paying the penalty on petty charges. The new system called e-challan to be launched during the month of November will enable the public to pay the penalty via ATM counters.
Thus from next month onwards, the traffic and police penalties can be paid through ATM centres and also via Akshaya Centres rather than going to the respective police stations.
The service is implemented with technical support from State Bank of Travancore.
