Green Channel Counter (GCC) is a new way of banking in which the customer transacts by swiping his debit card in a specially designed machine. Cash deposit, withdrawal and funds transfer can be done using this device and removes using the conventional paper-pen method. The new system aims to curb the higher transaction time and stationery such as pay-in-slips, cheques and challans. A maximum limit of Rs. 40,000 can be made using the GCC. Also a printed receipt will be given to validate the transaction.
