Trivandrum, 23 January 2012: The official website of Chief Minister of Kerala www.keralacm.gov.in has introduced a new facility. The new option called 'Whistle Blower'is to enable persons to tell the public or someone in authority the wrongdoing, fraud, corruption or mismanagement occurring in a government department, public or public undertaking organization.

The Whistle Blower facility is launched to curb corruption in public services. To use this facility users can visit the website and click on the whistle blower link and lodge complaints regarding any government/ public organization in which they have witnessed corruption. Apart from lodging complaints the facility also provides a platform for the people to tell about an agency/ department that served them best or where they found an innovative or novel procedure that reduces corruption/delay.
As per the information available in the website, the personal details of the persons who lodge a complaint will be kept confidential.
The official website of the Chief Minister of Kerala has witnessed several first-of-its-kind activities. The 24 hour live webcast to the Chief ministers office and chamber is one such thing.
