Trivandrum, 5 July 2012: The Communication club of Kerala University Journalism department and its Alumni association organises a three day 'Take One Media Fest' at Vailoppilly Samskrithi Bhavan. Journalism students from more than 40 institutes inside Kerala is expected to participate in the event which will feature several journalism related contests.
The event will be inaugurated by cultural minister KC Joseph at 10:30 am on July 6. Media seminars, photo exhibition, short film screening etc forms part of the festival.
The first "Maxwell Fernandez Memorial award" will be presented to Vinay Mathew from Mathrubhumi for his news story on agricultural loans for Technopark IT professionals.
The Media fest is planned in association with Information and Public Relations department, C-Dit and KTDC.
