Five people were dead and one injured in a road accident which occurred at Kallambalam, yesterday night. The accident occurred when the car which was headed for the Varkala beach for the New year celebrations collided with a oil tanker at Kallambalam. The deceased include Saju (30), Biju (40), Bijoy (30), Kuttappan (37), Laiju (30).
