Trivandrum, 7 August 2017: Kerala Government's prestigious project IT@School which was set up in 2001 has been converted into a company. IT@ Schol which was set up to enable information technology-based learning in high schools is now renamed as ‘Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE).
KITE’s logo was unveiled here on Sunday by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. KITE has been setup to avail funding from KIIFB and is the first SPV to be formed by the government after the Nava Kerala Mission. The projects under KITE will include VICTERS channel, ICT at School, SchoolWiki etc.
