Drishyam 2

The sequel of the all time Malayalam mega hit movie Drishyam has been announced. Director Jeetu Joseph and producer Anthony Perumbavoor during the Morning Show 24 has revealed about the second part.

Mohanlal who is celebrating his 60th Birthday has shared the teaser video via his official Facebook page. The video, which is only 22 seconds long, has been taken over by fans.

Speaking on the 24 Morning Show, the director said that the film would be a family drama. Jeetu added that the second part is not a film to be taken but a good plot will be released in a matter of months.

The movie was released in 2013 with  Mohanlal, Meena and Ansiba Hasan in the lead roles. The film, which went on to become a family drama, was not well received at the initial stage. The film was remade in four Indian languages ​​and two foreign languages.
