State Police Chief Loknath Behra has released the updated website of the Kerala Police. The website, available at keralapolice.gov.in, was prepared by technicians from the State Crime Records Bureau.
The revamped website has special sections for the public and police officers. The departmental orders and circulars that only the police officers are aware of can be viewed and logged in. Police officers can login with the existing Ayapus username and password. The old website can be found at old.keralapolice.gov.in until the information on the existing website is completely moved to the new website.
The updated website is now available in English and Malayalam.
The new website was built in full compliance with the guidelines laid down by the central government for building websites. Information and orders relating to the Police Department are linked to other applications of the Department itself to be made available to the public and police officers on the website in real time.
