Senna Bamboo Car - Team Pravega of Barton Hill Engineering College wins International Award

A team of mechanical engineering students of Government Engineering College, Barton Hill has won the circular economy award in Shell Eco Marathon competition held in Singapore.

The team Pravega consisted of 15 mechanical engineering students has desinged a bamboo car which was made of bamboo as building material with the help of Bamboo Research Centre and Bamboo Pecker, a Bangalore based company.

The prototype was named Senna in memorial of the late formula one racer Ayrton Senna.
