Trivandrum 7 July 2020: Leading social media platform Instagram has rolled out its TikTok rival Instagram Reels in India. The Instagram Reels is being tested with selected users in India, reports Tech websites. Reels will allow users to create a 15 seconds looping video clips within Instagram which can be edited, mixed with music and add effects like TikTok.
Instagram Reels is currently available in Brazil, France, Germany and many more western countries. The Indian launch is imminent as TikTok has been banned in the country.
Many other websites including YouTube has been testing TikTok like platforms, The YouTube TikTok clone named YouTube Shorts is expected to launch in India soon.
