The 11th Film Lovers Cultural Association (FILCA) International Film Festival will be held at Trivandrum from May 14.
The Festival will be inaugurated by Kannada film-maker Girish Kasaravalli.
More than 30 films will be screened at Kalabhavan Theatres, Vazhuthacaud for seven days during the festival.
Kazakhstan movie ‘Daughter-in-law’ will be the opening film.
Malayalam feature films featured in the festival include ‘TD Dasan Std VI B’, ‘Sadgamaya’, ‘Kuttysrank’ and ‘Umma’ where as ‘Natarang’, ‘Udaan’, ‘Peepli Live’, ‘Dhobi Ghutt’ and ‘Angadi Theruvu’ etc will be the noted Indian films.
International movies include ‘A Mighty Heart’, ‘The Social Network’, ‘The Ghost Writer’, ‘Fitzcarraldo’, ‘Inception’ etc.
