Trivandrum, 16 October 2012: The Ernakulam district court has issued restriction for uploading, downloading or watching the full Malayalam film 'Ustad Hotel' through internet.
In the 'John Doe' order issued for the first time in the history of Malayalam cinema, the Court has issued a general order to block all URL (Unique Resource Locator) carrying CD, DVD, Blu-Ray, Disc, VCD, cable TV, DTH, Internet service, pen drive MMS, Tapes, Hard drives, conditional Access System or in any other such medium.
The petition has been filed by MC Sajithan, MD of the movie channel which has secured the telecast right of the movie.
A Jon Doe order or Asok Kumar order is issued against someone whose identity is not specifically mentioned or known.
