E-District Project to be launched in all the 14 Districts in Kerala

Trivandrum, 3 December 2012: Government of Kerala plans to extend the e-district project for e-governance to all the 14 districts of Kerala. The  state level inauguration of the e-district project will be held on December 4, 2012 at Pathanamthitta.

Currently a pilot project of 'e-district' runs in Palakkad and Kannur districts.

Kerala E-District project intend to provide Government services to citizens through Common Service Centers (CSC) which are easily accessible. Services from different departments are brought under one umbrella at any CSC. The list of services which comes under the project is as follows
