The decision came after the years long struggle from the side of nurses and the hard work of Anto Antony M.P., who is also the Parliament's represetative in Indian Nursing Council.

The council agreed to the demand of M.P. to take stringent action against the nursing colleges who are following the inhuman activities like bonded labour.

The decision will help many Keralites who are living and working in other states of India.
